A single channel video commissioned for the 2025–26 exhibition, Weather and the Whale, opened at UC Santa Cruz’s Institute for Arts and Sciences in June of 2025.

With writing set to imagery from the burn scar of the 2025 Palisades Fire, historic maps and artworks depicting the story of Jonah and historic routes of British imperialism, Kaleidoscope presents a layering of histories flashing up in a moment of danger and disorientation — layers of time, rising heat, and residues of war.
